Fishkardo is a unique restaurant in Fiskardo, Kefalonia, located right by the sea, in the heart of the island’s colorful and traditional village. The restaurant’s architecture draws inspiration from the underwater world, creating an atmospheric blend of contemporary and timeless design that reflects the human connection to the sea.
With full respect for the building’s historical value and the village’s character, the original colors and materials were preserved: navy blue wooden frames, a signature rose-pink wall, and traditional elements that highlight the local identity. Inside, the floor, gradient-painted walls, and bubble light fixtures on the ceiling evoke the feeling of an underwater journey. A deep blue color palette with bronze and gold accents brings elegance and a touch of retro aesthetic.
Design Imagination in Every Detail
Custom-made wooden furniture, subway tiles with bronze details in the restrooms, and distinctive décor capture a world of design imagination and gastronomic pleasure.
A Sensory Coastal Experience
Outdoors, right by the sea, wooden tables and chairs with rope details create a dreamy setting. Planters with rosemary and lavender, along with two-tone square umbrellas, add a sense of freshness and color, making Fishkardo an ideal destination for romantic dinners, family meals, and unforgettable seaside experiences in the Ionian.
