Housed in a restored neoclassical building on Kavvadia Square in Fiskardo, Tra Due is more than just a restaurant. Its name, meaning “Between Two” in Italian, reflects its unique identity: a cultural and culinary bridge between Greece and Italy, much like the Ionian Islands themselves.

A refined culinary experience between two cultures: Greece and Italy

The restaurant’s design pays deep respect to the heritage of the listed building and the architectural character of Fiskardo. Its interior draws inspiration from traditional Italian osterie and the elegant supper clubs of the 1920s and 1930s.

Upon entering, guests are greeted by the iconic marble bar, geometric metallic arches with custom Italian wine cellars, and bronze-toned metal cladding. Antiqued mirrors, coffered wall panels, and ambient lighting create a nostalgic, dreamlike atmosphere that glows with soft reflections.

A Historical Setting with a Contemporary Soul

A signature feature is the hand-aged wall treatment, blending seamlessly from the green of the window frames to a warm cream ceiling—evoking the passage of time. Wall-mounted sconces in broken-gold tones enhance the timeless feel, while metal column coverings allude to the building’s restoration and rebirth.

The palette and textures create harmony between the building’s exterior and interior, grounding the restaurant in its historic setting while expressing a fresh, refined personality.

Design Inspired by Time and Craft

Neoclassical Greek elements are thoughtfully incorporated throughout: coffered ceilings with integrated lighting, custom solid wood furniture inspired by aristocratic mansions, and brass fittings all nod to Kefalonia’s architectural traditions.

Natural stone floors, green marble finishes in the restrooms, and handcrafted wood details blend with sophisticated metallic accents, resulting in a bold yet tasteful interior—elevated by the island’s unique charm.

The palette and textures create harmony between the building’s exterior and interior, grounding the restaurant in its historic setting while expressing a fresh, refined personality.
